Heya - I’m trying to make a menu within a menu using movies that fade in and out when you press buttons. For example when the page loads it calls a movie that fades in over 10 frames. Then when you press the “People” button from the menu, the initial movies fades out and a new “People” movie fades in. From within this “People” movie I have a list of buttons with (of course) people’s names on them. The problem I’m having is that I cannot get new movies to load when I press on the peoples names…
I started off using this tutorial and everything works fine, but now I just can’t figure out how I go about making it work for a movie within a movie. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. I have uploaded a simple file of what I am talking about if anyone cares to check it out. It can be found [URL=http://www.intrinsia.net/fadein_test.zip]here When you preview the file in your browser, you’ll see the initial green box movie load, and then when you “click here” it loads the blue square movie. What I’m trying to get working is when you click “press here” it should fade out the blue box movie and load a new movie in.
