I’m new to Flash and to AS3 (and to programming in general). I’m building a flash website in CS3. I have a JUKEBOX on my site.
Right now when you click it, it opens a Flash mp3 player in another tab. (My site is johnkatchur.com/test so you can see how it works now). Instead, I want it to open (or I should say pop-up) in its own small window (so the viewer isn’t directed away from the main site by the new tab). A good example of what I want is the jukebox on Sting.com.
I know (or think) the solution has something to do with JavaScript. Someone offered this link as advice but I still can’t figure out exactly how to implement it.
I’m really out of my depth here…if someone could tell me exactly how to fix this, I would be grateful. Again, I’m using Action Script 3.
