Not sure where to have posted it, hopefully someone can help. My friend has Ms Web Matrix installed on her comp. It was working fine y’day. But now it keeps saying “can’t find localhost”. I have tried changing the port number and she does not have a firewall running either. Even tried reinstalling the whole thign. Still nada. Kinda lost now as to how to solve the problem. Thanks in advance for your help.
i loved Web Matrix until one day it wouldnt even start…

but there is a much better tool which is also free…

The problem is that it uses ASP 2.0 which is not offered by all hosts
Another tool that is great and open source is SharpDevelop
There is one for ASP 1.1 and one for ASP 2.0
