I have A LOT of word files that I am converting to pdf and trying to import into mx 2004.
When I export a word file to pdf (version 5) it looks fine when I open it up in acrobat.
After I import the pdf file into mx2004 it loses table formatting.
In pdf, the tables look identical to word. In flash the table lines are there but all of the words are left aligned and run into one another.
They are no longer in the table but in their own static text boxes (per line in the table).
I get the same problem for words that are separated by tabs. Export to pdf no problem. Import to mx2004, all the tabs are gone.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I have HUNDREDS of these pages to import…ughhh
