Mulitple Hover Captions

Hey there.
So i am working with this code for creating hover captions…
it works really really great. It resizes ad everything.

I ran into a problem with a few objects on my site that need hover captions applied to them. They are a few objects that are around the edges of the screen. So the Hover captions go off the screen when you rollover them.

I would like to be able to change that for just those few specific areas. I have been trying to add something to the code to make those specific rollovers behave differently, and cant seem to get it.
Any suggestions?

so I have yet to get to the bottom of this… but here is where i have been going with this.

Can I copy the function that the Hover captions are using, and make copies of all of the used symbols…and just rename them all with 2 added to them that way… when i roll over the dot in the middle, it calls up Function 1, and the dots on the sides call up function 2. Then you can easily re-position the symbols around the center dot for 2. right?
