Multiple images

Hi

I have to place on a page 8 images from a folder containing about 1000 images and then on the next entry into the page have a different 8 appear without duplicating any images on the page.

As an extra it would be better if there were no reapeats until all the images had been seen.

Any suggestions on how this can be achieved.

Hi Thanks for that it is interesty but as far as I can see that thread loads one image onto a page I need 8 different images on each page.

Any more suggestions would be helpful.

Well you can’t expect to always find the exact solution to your question. So you need to take something that’s close and customize it a bit to fit your needs. In your case, you just need to learn how to make an image placeholder load random images, then duplicate it 7 more times. So simply use that thread to develope 1 working example, then make 7 more.
If I have some time mabey I’ll make a sample for you but don’t count on it as it’s a large job.
I should add that for each of your 8 boxes to load randomly, you will probably have to seperate your images into 8 different folders, so they will all be truly random! just a thought here…
