I have a question about coordinates and plotting multiple x,y coordinates (preferably shortest path) on an image. Simply put, I suck at math and don’t know even where to start. So, that said, here’s the scenario:
I’m a World of Warcraft addict (I know, get a life!) and they give you quests and you have access to a map. What I want to do, is screenshot that map, have an area to enter x and y with up to 5 seperate x,y references (0,0 being top left) and have Flash plot out the best path to take to get to all the places in the shortest amount of time - a line between points would be good.
Ideally, another box allowing your own current x,y position would be available showing best path from that particular point but thats a wish-list sorta thing.
I have never seen this done and I believe it would be a good idea which people would download by the handful but I have absolutely no idea how to start this other than getting the Map into flash!
Any and All ideas would be greatly appreciated or if further clarification is needed, just say the word.
