Ok. So I really am not working on this project at the moment, but I had a thought and wanted to bring it up on the forum because I really don’t know enough about Flash to know if this is possible.
Is it possible with Flash to switch between music at the end of a measure? I’ll give you an example to explain what I mean.
Let say you have 3 sound files. For this example they will all be instrumental only, one majestic and sweeping, one slow and mournful, and one quick and peppy. What I would like is to have 3 buttons. let’s say the slow/mournful song is playing, When you click on the majestic/sweeping button I would want it to play the majestic song, but only once the first song has reached the end of the measure. Ideally the transition would be almost seamless, leading straight from the sad song to the majestic one.
Besides taking the precautions of making them all the same key, etc… is this possible? What would I have to do? I’m not sure I’d even attempt to try this project, but I’d like to discuss it with some flash users who are much more skilled in the program than I.
