Just wanting to share and getting some comments from a site that’s recently launched early this year.
It’s a company profile site that sells, you know, speakers. The development took about 2 weeks in total and the idea is pretty straightforward, they’re hip, happening and reactive.
At first I did intend to use papervision for this task but I have always worried it might be killing the end-user’s browser from that (notice the amount of flying tiles). And I’m glad the client’s are alright with me using the z-axis that is available in Flash Player 10.
But it’s still a pretty heavy duty site. But it would be one of my achievement milestones in Flash development since as you can see, even the tiles are dynamically drawn in real time, instead of drawing/exporting it manually in photoshop pieces by pieces.
