Hi all,
While I’ve been using flash for a while now - its mainly been on the design-y side of things rather than the Actionscript side… Anyway, my problem regards a mute button that I’ve been asked to add to an intro sequence of a micro-site. The intro sequence itself is an FLV that plays out - with the sound incorporated.
I’ve created a mute button which “stops all sounds” in the main timeline - which works fine - but I need to be able to “un-mute” the FLV as easy as I’ve muted it…
After looking through some tutorials about sound objects etc, I’m thinking that I need to separate the FLV visual and the soundtrack and import them onto separate layers, so I can control the sound volume both up and down…
Re-rendering the intro sequence is going to be a pain - so I’d rather not have to go down this route if poss.
So does anyone have any advice on how I can simply un-mute my FLV after I’ve muted it?
Any info will be grately recieved!
Many thanks in advance
