[mx04] ecards question

I am making some ecards for a client, my question is they want to be able to send them to people as emails. How would this be done? Package it as a projector file? Or do I just send them a link to it on the internet? Or some other way? Also will there be a need for a preloader? First time for me doing ecards so any input appreciated.
