I just got flash a week ago, and I’ve been messing around with it mostly… I believe for a noobie I’m doing pretty well… I’m even starting to build a side-scrolling video game ( that isn’t finished), but I thought it would be cool to design a flash site dedicated to a kids site called Gaiaonline ( www.gaiaonline.com ), so I started making it about an hour ago… I just finished the mold, and I need to know what you guys think… Please be kind.
It looks pretty good considering you just started using Flash… two things though, shrink down the resolution, it’s too big. And the colors in the top-right corner between the Flash portion and the HTML do not line up.
definitely shrink down that table a little. i might try to escape the standard 550x400 swf size also. especially if you’re going to make all the content in flash.
you have a compatibility prob with netscape… it is way small
Yes problem in firefox with size.
Thanks guys… But how do I change the Resolution?
I think it looks fine
i think he means your table is just too wide (even for us on 1024x768 resolution)
Ok I made the buttons smaller and changed the text font a bit… What do you guys think I should change the size of the screen too?
huge bug in mozilla…
it’s like 1/4 the correct size, and the table is like four times the size of the browser window…
click on the gray area (NOT THE FRAME) then ont he properties box, click where it says Size: X x Y (those are really numebrs) then you can change it
