Hey guys,
Not sure if I’m being screwed here or not…
I’ve just moved into a new place, and contacted the landlord of my old place today to see about getting my deposit money back.
He told me that he’s having to take £100 off of it because one of the walls has some finger marks on it, and he needs to hire a decorator out to repaint the whole thing!
Surely he can’t do this? Wouldn’t dirty walls come under reasonable wear and tear? They weren’t even massively dirty!!!
