I work as a web designer for a company that does Agriculture and
Construction Equipment dealer websites worldwide. And I use Photoshop
/ Image Ready, Frontpage and Dreamweaver… Flash too of course.
Here’s the prob.
I design a site… then… when i surf the pages… and decide to use
the IE “back button” the page shifts slightly left and right… so
pretend you are at the home page… you click “about us”… then maybe
“contact us”… then you hit the “back button” and the page moves slightly.
THEN… if you refresh that same page you are on, it will shift again.
I thought i had tracked the problem to a Meta-utf-8 issue, but now I
am lost and confused. I’m including a few sites below that I have
created that have this problem. If you would be so kind as to take a
look I would be in your debt.
Here’s a couple sites.
http://www.scotttractoreq.com/default_home.htm
http://www.martintruckandtractor.com
Here’s another site or 2 that doesnt seem to have the problem, yet I
created it the same as the rest.
http://www.farm-pride.com/ <-- fun flash animation
http://www.jamesgreenfarmmachinery.co.uk
I have created over 100 sites for my current employer and recently
found that some jump when you use the back button. GRRRR !
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
