Hi i have just been viewing the tutorials on this site recently and i am using Flah 8. The last tutorial i went through was the http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/button_effect.htm. I did my version of the rollover and rollout effect but with the one i have created, everytime the mouse is over the circle, there is some sort of 1 secon delay. On the other hand, when i put my mouse over the one on the tutorial site there is no delay, it grows bigger(respectively) perfectly. I have tried to follow the tutorial as best i could but unsure why there is this delay?
I have created something similar, file name called RollOver & RollOut Button V2.fla but instead of the changing colours i have left it by just making it being to enlarge. With this version, the circle moves grows bigger much faster, than the one on the tutorial site. I have also made this version of type Button instead of Graphic.
Can somebody tell me why my graphic button has this delay and how to rectify? And why the second version of type button is much faster than the one on tutorial? Can i control the speed of both??
