Myspace prevents external actions?

i was killing time messing with myspace, and i was gonna put all my friends, an option to send a message or comment, etc inside a flash file, but it turns out that myspace somehow disables any actionscript that doesn’t affect the movie itself. ie getURL, loadVariablesNum, etc do not work… for example if i had a button with a picture of one of my friends and their name, when you click on the button with on(release) getURL and their url, it won’t do anything… anybody know why or how to get around it??
