Name of that program

Yesterday while i was at borders reading a design magazine i came across a few nice compositions using PS and a program which i cant really remember so i come to you my fellow friends in hope of finding this programs name i think it was unfractive refraction or something like that if i dont get an answer ill have to go back to borders today and write it down $toopid me :-/
