Someone is ‘it’ in that they are the quoter. They post one lyric from a song (no instrumental plz :)) and everyone else has to guess what song the lyric is from.
The person with the correct guess is the next quoter (it) and posts their lyric repeating the process.
A new quoter is determined by the current quoter confirming that that persons response is correct.
The current quoter can be over-ruled by 3 other people if they agree someone has posted the correct lyric and the original writer has not yet confirmed (you know, incase they went on vacation or in the middle of a bathroom break).
Hints can be given at the quoter’s discreton.
Granted, this IS the information age, so lets keep this fair and not be using google or other search engines to find the solutions. The honor system is in effect.
**Since there a billion songs and no way for anyone to know a few lines from some of the music you may listen to, try to pick lyrics from songs that most would have heard casually over the years. Doesn’t have to be pop, doesn’t have to be limited to only the past few years, etc.
Also, feel free to provide any information that may help in locating the song**
ya know I almost started a lyrics thread too but I thought it would be too hard I wouldnt recognize verses from my favorite songs if I saw them written out :!: (plus there are so many kinds of music, and if a certain group gets rolling, chances are you’ll only see lyrics from that genre) heh I doubt Ill be doing much here.
Not in this current state because of the difficulty of this, but I think if we provide information such as the year the song came out and maybe a small blurb about the music group’s history, it will be more enjoyable.
