Navigating through movie clips

Hi, how do I navigate thro’ moviclips, say I have 2 movieclips they are ‘mc_data’ and ‘mc_btns’.

Now in ‘mc_btns’ there are 4 buttons when I click one of those buttons it shud go to and stop at a particular frame in ‘mc_data’.

How do I do this.
