Hello everybody!
I’m new to these forums as you can tell, and judging by the name of my topic, you can see that I’m in need of help. First off, I’d like to say that I am TOTALLY new to flash. I’ve tried looking over the tutorials on this site and have had NO LUCK due to my stupidity. Anyways, on to my problem. For school, I am making a mini Halloween flash project. I have started off my flash and have inputted most of the images that I will be using (and the layers). With my flash, I basically want to make it so that it looks like the witch is moving (the sidewalk and houses are moving to the left and are looping back; sort of like a temporary loop of those 3 objects), but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it. The reason I want to do this is so my witch looks like it’s travelling to someplace. After a certain amount of time (lets say 5-10 seconds) the houses should have disappeared and a new image should appear (I was thinking of a graveyard with tombstones and grass). What I need is someone to help with out with accomplishing this, perhaps giving me a mini tutorial on how to do it (how would I make the sidewalk/houses loop to the left and reappear on the right?; how would I make the image dissapear and make another appear?), or to guide me to something that would really help me out. I’ve attached my .fla file without any images (so it would fit into the file size limitations).
Thanking you all,
StarStrike
