hello everyone,
created a virtual tour using the interactive image panning tutorial for flash. I created the movie fine and it works perfect when used separately (not in my main flash movie), but when I try to add the swf file into my main swf movie, I got no actions. Basically, to make myself alittle clearer, I created a separate movie named virt.swf that is 328-200 pixels. I tried to import it into my main index.swf file, which is 660x340 pixels. When I imported it, the panaramic image shows in full, and bleeds off the page and the actions dont work (it doesnt scroll left or right). I tried using a mask, so now the image shows up correctly, in a 328x200 box, but the actions still dont work.
Anyone have any advice on how I could get this to work? I wasnt sure if I should of just tried to create the virtual tour inside the index.swf file using separate movie clips or if I should proceed on what I was trying to do by importing the virt.swf into the index.swf.
-any assistance on trying to get existing swf’s to work inside another swf would be great, because I have been trying to get things like this to work for awhile, but no luck.
