A girl-pal of mine bought one of these cheapo gadgets and it refuses to work… Apparently it’s ‘not being recognised’ by the computer, so I’m guessing it’s either doing absolutely nothing when plugged in, or giving an ‘Unknown Device’ error…
It’s a Toshiba Gigabeat F20 (20gb).
It was reconginising the device but the driver was missing in the software and we cant seem to find where tohe driver is for it… Doesnt seem to be included in the software… Tried searching for it on the net but nothing seems to be coming up… Could just be looking in the wrong places?? Looked on a few sites and found a few links to downloads and so on but none of that works… Some guy said update the computer with Service Pack 2 for windows xp, but we already have that… So it can’t be the computer… Other than that we cant quite figure it out… Ive tried 2 different computers now… Having a look on other websites and it seems that a whole bunch of other people have had similar problems but no one really seems to be coming up with some difinite solutions… At least not that I can see…
Any help would be great
