hi everyone.
i’ve got this uni assignment that im making in flash 8 and i need a little help.
it’s a guitar tuner. basically you press a button and it makes sound. i’ve got six buttons with six different sounds, each corresponding with a guitar string.
the tuner itself works fine. you press a button, and there is sound. but with this sound, i want a movieclip of notes appearing and disappearing to play. now currently the movieclip(s) is/are embeded in the button. So as long as you hold down the button, my movie clip plays and loops. but as soon as you let go of the button the animation stops.
unfortunately i was sick during the first actionscript lecture, so i have no idea what im doing.
essentially what i want to do is this: you click on one of the six buttons and the movie clip plays once.
i’ve uploaded an image of my workspace and my button.
any help is hugely appreciated.
