I need help getting images that i call up to move… anyone help me with that?
Hey im working on my final project in Computer science in school and im trying to make a flash, where you can but different unit types(Marines, Zerglings, Dragoons, etc from SC) by hitting buttons and then moving them into range of the enemy(Siege tanks from SC) and attacking the enemy with waves until they are destroyed. I just started but i was wondering if anyone had any pointers, for example, im at a loss at how i can set up each Picture or (unit) to move and how to select them To move them… help?:cowbell:
the fact that vb 6 is hard to write in is probably the reason im having so many problems with it haha
Just switch to .net right now and to C# if you find the VB syntax weird.
well i tried .net but it wouldnt download… could u find somewhere i can get it from?
Dam that Vb gore is awesome mate… now its time that i go and read thru it all and make sure i understand how it will all work :flower: thanks man
You couldn’t get it to download from microsofts site. I highly doubt that you would have problems with there servers. They allow for a 6mb connection, something no other server i’ve seen does. Try downloading it again, and I think they have two options for downloading either using their download manager or your browsers.
NVM was talking to spodi today I guess he stopped doing VB Gore… so you may want to move onto something else. Its been discontinued while he works on a new project ??? maybe a .net or xna thing.
