I have a main page that has four buttons that each call an empty movie
clip that will load a different .swf file for each section of the
site. When the page loads, there is nothing on the site except for the
four buttons. I’d like to have an image that appears first before a
user clicks on the buttons to load the .swf file.
I tried to put the graphic on the page and then put a screen on a
bottom layer to hide the graphic but when clicking on the buttons, it
shows up for a second, even though there is no empty frame in the
beginning or the end of the file.

Is there a way to have this image appear as a home page and then
disappear when the other .swf files load?
