I’m having problems getting a nested button to work.
The button is contained 2 movies down from the main movie.
The main movie has a movie holder instanced “mc_holder”. This holds a movie (portfolio.swf) with a movie holder instanced “porthold_mc”.
My porfolio case studies are loaded into the “porthold_mc” - which contain a mc “work” and a mc “easing” - which is a scolling area controlled by a button.

So tried the AS1 route and set a path on the scroll button from the mother movie:
_root.mc_holder.porthold_mc.work.easing – but not working.
Also tried this._parent._parent._parent - but not clear that this is able to jump loaded .swfs - in any case it didn’t work.
Grateful for any ideas on a fix
