I passed with flying colors and so begin a new job on monday as a video game tester for THQ. I will be playing video games for 8 hours a day, 40+ hours a week (they said there is lots of OT available) at $9.50 an hour to start. Now granted I will be playing the same level of the same game a billion times and will eventually end up hating said game for life. But the environment is relaxed as hell, I’m surrounded by other games, and I’m doing something my parents said would never amount to anything…playing video games. I just called my dad and told him all those years of Super Mario and Street Fighter was what got me this job. He laughed. I laughed. Good Times.
