New Music! Life Is, Not Bad!

So I had to pick up some new CD-R’s in a hurry on wed and went to circuit city. I looked around at the music there for a bit, and after much debate actually bought one: Modest Mouse: The Moon and Antartica. It was only 11.99, which I have decided is a reasonable price for a new CD, if I like it lots. Then today I went back jsut to look around. Well, first I went to FYE, cause although EVERYTHING there is MAJORLY overpriced, sometimes you find good deals (I bought elliott smith: either/or and alice in chains greatest hits for 9.99 a piece!). So I found some cds at FYE for sorta cheap but not cheap enough. So I head over to Circuit City and find TWO Bright Eyes CD’s for 12.99 (Fevers and Mirrors, Lifted or The Story is in the Soil, Keep your Ear to the ground). I bought Lifted…Ground, and also a hardcore mix called FerretMusic2004 (with bands like Killswitch Engage, Autumn to Ashes, various others). Not my favourite music, but at 3.99, I don’t regret expanding my musical tastes.

All in all, I am really happy to have new music, and aside from Amazon.com, Circuit City is probably the coolest place for music in my opinion.
