Hi, I’m working on a poster for this Joe Strummer Tribute show. I’ve only just started on the character art for the poster but I thought i’d put it up any how. The line work needs a bit of fixing though
I think the inside of the lip needs definition- and the shade under the bottom lip should be closer to a dark flesh colour.
It looks horizontally squished.
not bad… maybe you need to consider the outfit colors…
His shirt doesn’t make sense either - it morphs into the collar of the jacket.
Looks like it’s set to 85% xscale and 100% yscale. Really squashed.
Some slight changes, I haven’t done anything to the shirt. Making the nose, mouth, eye brows is annoying
Those features are looking a lot better.
I think you still need to check out the proportions of the cranium to width.

That image is skewed on the y too by the look of it! shrink it down first before you do anything
