I’ve spent my free time for 2 weeks now trying to understand how to display elapsed time and total time of a flv. I’ve tried dozens of scripts, I just don’t get it :wasted: sorry…
I’m turning to you guys for guidance 
here it is:
I’m using Flash 8 pro with custom UI components, I will be using buttons that change the movie that will play in the same player…each button changes the contentpath in the player. this is working fine. Now, I would like to display elapsed time and totaltime of each movie…The script ? what? how ? where ?

Another small thing: how can I make the (elapsed time/totaltime) to display right on top of my volume bar ?
In the zip there are 2 FLAs, the one that I would like for it to work,that has one button for now, and the other one that plays just 1 video automatically and has a script I found that displays “kind of” what I want, see for yourself !
please help
