Newbie help please!

A school project. I made a home page. I am suppose to have four buttons on the home page that go to three scenes. O.K. did that. I already dup’d the scenes. Now, I have an animation that I want to appear in scene two. I open the animation, copy the frames, then on scene 2, I paste the frames. I then make the animation a mc, then delete the frames. My animation doesn’t work. Am I doing it wrong, or can someone suggest a right way of doing it.

Please help me!!! I am so clueless. Hopefully Flash will get easier for me.

You can’t make an animation an MC, but instead you need to put the animation inside the MC.

So create your MC, AND THEN paste your frames and it should work.
