I am building a Flash tool to allow users to build a section of text. Each line of text (there are 12) can be modified in terms of size, color and font face. Using the “Library > New Font” function, I have added about 40 fonts and then set them all to “Linkage > Export for ActionScript”.
I am running into a really strange problem. While all of these fonts show up in the Library, about half of them are not available in the user-interface that I built to modify the lines - they default to Times.
Is there a maximum in the number of fonts you can embed, or maybe is there a different way to go about loading all of these fonts? Surely the easiest thing would be to drop some of the fonts, but that’s not an option that the client is willing to consider.
