I’m importing a .mov file into Flash MX 2004, editing it with the wizard as I have no other means of editing (where it still sounds fine) and then eventually exporting it as a .swf for web use, but I get the message that “Device sound is not supported in the Flash 7 Player” and indeed it plays back without sound. What can I do to get sound in an exported .swf? Or is there a clever trick? Or do I need an additional piece of software to convert the .mov to .fla BEFORE importing it to Flash (if so, what?). Or do I need to bite the bullet and upgrade my version of Flash? (I’m on a Mac, OS10.4.9 with Intel.) Thanks in anticipation!
