Hi,
Does anyone know anything about how to not export a linked (from library) symbol in the first frame.
OK, I know I can unclick the button in the linkage dialog box but, of course, doesn’t work.
When or how can u export it?
Any help or pointing to resources would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What do you mean it doesn’t work? It works all right for me.
And if you don’t export in the first frame, Flash will export on the frame the object is ‘instantiated’. I guess.

Hi,
Thanks for replying,
Could u tell me how do u make it work?
In my tests it works fine if exported in the first frame but it does
nothing.
I’ve tried to attach it on a mouse event, on a button event, on a particular frame…and ‘rien’, ‘nada’.
I know it’s got to be an stupid thing but I can’t any documentation about it.
Thanks

Hi,
Because if I export in the first frame the preloader won’t start till anything exported in the first frame loads and this makes preloaders how would I put it… nearly useless?
Thanks for replying
