ugh Iām not a fan of 1.6ā¦ I donāt really want to install it on my machine. Is there any way to maybe play some 1.5?
I installed it and updated it to cs1.6
but look at this `attch image
it is still updating so I must wait antil it say ready toplay ? then I can play but I must wait for the update or what ? please help 
you need the update! It updates CS, so you will have a CS1.5 and 1.6, it installs VITAL files liek the files for the Shield, Galil, and Famas (new guns/items)

How does it suck? 
the only difforence between the versions is
CS1.6 - only a couple MINOR bugsā¦ all MAJOR bugs fixed!
CS1.5 - many bugs, no friends list, no quick servers list, no new guns, no new items, no games list, no systemMoniter system.
the only thing is that StEAM updates witself with like 3 min. updatesā¦ which is a GOOD thing
i tend to like steam more. but i will play eitehr.
OK Iām in. Except the only way this is gonna work is if someone sets up a dedicated server on one of their machines. Finding people will be way too chaotic and it will never happen. But Iām in for 1.6. And also about the teams, play both, who cares what team youāre on? That way both sides get to play both teams.

I agree! It doesnāt actually āsuckā but I would rather play cs 1.5 than 1.6 because

syko, try it again, they just relased two patches that made 1.6 ub3r |33t over 1.5. a lot of the maps (like aztech) are redone. the spawns look diff and some ways are changed. its really a ton better, esp two new guns and a tactiacal shield. that and the only way i can get servers on 1.5 is to add them offa game tiger, which sucks. if you guys want me and mike will take screen caps of the new stuff (or at least i will)
I know whatās in 1.6! And I forgot to say that steam is 2.5 GB! Cāmon! For some ppl thatās too much! I have that space but stillā¦!
1.6 has better graphics and stuff but I think itās too early for 1.6!
