I was very happy finding the tutorial on how to create a photo gallery or rather a thumbnail filmstrip at:

Now I am trying to figure out the best way of adding a old fashioned kodak filmroll negative (the brownish one with holes that go into your analogue camera) kind of border to the thumbnails in the filmstrip.

I am not sure on how to go about this as the number of thumbnails may differ at any time and the width of the containing movieclip varies with the number and size of thumbnails.
Any good ideas?
