According to http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/full_screen_mode_02.html (Tracy Stampfli), it appears there is a method onFullScreen that checks whether or not the Flash is in normal or fullScreen. However, I have tried to work with it and it seems to not exist. Have any of you been able to use it?
I have no problem getting the file to go into and out of full screen (using the context Menu from the code written in the above link). I am running into an issue when I go into full screen and press “Esc” to exit. When doing so, the exitFullScreen() function does not fire. I’ll let you know if I get it. Hopefully sticking this on kirupa will prove the “x heads is better than one” method is efficient yet again.
