someone help.
all of a sudden when I was downloading music, it took a vvvvvvvvveeerrrrrry long time (like 2 mins per download) … when it usually only took 30-50 seconds. i called my tech support and they said to check for open ports, and i had 3 open (or so it said) but it says its impossible to close.
how do I know if I have open ports, how do I close them, etc;?
This is how I do it with my router (if you have one it’ll be same, if you don’t, it might still be the same).
There is a website the ###.##.###.## type that you connect to.
Then click advanced.
Then it shows you the ports you have open.
Click the disabled button and then type in the port # under private and public.
