I’m creating a sales tool with Flash MX 2004 in Mac OS X Panther and I have a link to a PDF file in my flash file… no problem, it opens Acrobat in Windows and Mac perfectly. But, now the client, who primarily uses Windows, wants that file to be a Microsoft Word .doc file instead of a PDF. But, when I link to the .doc file the same as the PDF, it trys to open in a browser instead of launching Word.
How can I make Windows open the .doc file by launching Word from flash?
