Well, okay not really… but it might as well be.
Yesterday EA continued their monopolization (is that even a word?) by securing a contract with ESPN… a contract previously held by Sega.
As you might remember: A couple months back EA made a deal with the NFL and the Players Association which really hurt Sega because their ESPN NFL 2k games were some of their biggest money-makers… well since Sega could no longer use the NFL name or anything related, it only seemed right that ESPN would follow the NFL.
Dam*, it looks like I’m gonna have to buy EA games now.
