I have just gotten Flash 8 and have never used Flash. I would like to start and finish a project for a friend of mine before November 6th involving a video that shows a map every now and then. The idea is during the video it will fade over to a map for a few seconds to show what would look like a camera following a path guided by a small dot leaving trails. Such a thing you would see in a movie like most of the Indiana Jones movies where it shows the path travelled by the air plane… I would like to create that VERY SAME thing but to my liking and over either a topographical or road map.I suppose the only thing I could say now is… I have a jpg of a map… what do I do to get started? Any information to start me in the right direction would be most appreciated.
