You see these backgrounds quite often now, and I like 'em. But I was wondering about how to make 'em… Coz I would need something lighter, like beige or something, to go with the paper…
some of them might be gradients (remedy) others scans, other photos (works well; take and old book and take a dig. photo of it, take out the words and youll have a good looking paper)

**well those bgrd’s are pixel art so break out your pencil tool. And you can use the make pattern tool in photoshop. Search for a tut on that. **
You mean they draw ALL that by hand? :h: Such abstract figures? :puzzle:

You mean the paper or the background? I might take the dig. photo for the paper, but if you ment for the background, I lost ya
gah i feel like a heel for not having the paper tut up
you mean like my footer El?
Well, as DDD said, I wasn’t really referring to the paper itself, but to the backgrounds. I just needed something that would go well with the paper edges of my website itself. But that tut would be useful anyway, since I still have to make everything
you draw a portion of the pattern then. use photoshop’s make pattern command. What you are creating a seamless background. Do a google search for a photoshop seamless background tutorial. There are plenty out there. Even look in the sticky post at the top the one labeled useful resources.
