Parameters?

[font=Arial]Hello … I made this flash menu, to control these iFrames … and it worked well …

My boss told me (who is a programmer) he needs to pass “Parameters” through the buttons when clicked …
I have never done this before … I am using Flash MX. Can anyone help me along?

This is exactly what he asked “any way that I can pass the parameters to the flash app and then have you call the links like this:
/cgi-bin/script.cgi?!PARAM1!+!PARAM2!
Where PARAM1, and PARAM2 are the parameters that I am passing.”

Well, you could pass the parameters received by the CGI script to the Flash movie through the FlashVars property. See http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/flashvars.htm.
