Partitioning Your HD

So I finally have some free-time tonight, and into the weekend to format my machine, and also put in my new HD and new dvd-burner I got for Christmas. :slight_smile:

I have a brand new Maxtor DiamondMax 320gig to accompany my older smaller 60gig HD.

Iā€™m going to use the 60gig for backup storage, or mp3 storage. I plan on partitioning the 320 into 2 or 3 partitions.

1 for photography
1 for windows installation
1 for programs

Obviously the windows partition (c:) will be NTFS, but should I make the others FAT32 or do they need to be NTFS for program installation?

What are your experiences with partitioning? I know how to partition my HD, but have never done it with a HD this large.

any suggestions?
