Pause Between Sound Loops...how To Avoid That!

HEY GUYS!!

I´M TRAYING TO CREATE A LOOP WHITH A STOP AND PLAY BUTTONS TO CONTROL IT BUT WHEM THE LOOP REPEATS THERE´S LIKE 1 SECOND BETWEEN THE PREVIOUS AND THE NEXT LOOP!

HOW CAN I CREATE A SOUND LOOP TO PUT IM MY MOVIE WHITH NO PAUSE BETWEEN THE LOOPS.
I GUEES THE PROBLEM AS TO DO WHITH THE MP3 FILE…. BUT I´M NOT SHURE?

BYE THE WAY…ANY SMART ADVISSES RELATED TO THE BEST WAY TO CREATE A CONTROLABLE (PLAY/STOP) SOUND LOOP. TO PLAY ON THE BACKGROUND OF THE MAIN MOVIE.

as far as the MP3 goes… Flash adds a small chunk of dead space in front of MP3’s unless they are cut down really really really really really really really really well… it took my friend and I about 10 tries to get it to work right…

yeah… try to edit your MP3 file… see to it if there’s no “unnecessary silence” before and after…

and… pls careful with the capslock… some people are somewhat sensitive on it… like me :wink: (you dont have to shout! lol =))

hey let me suggest that when working with mp’s flash there is always a pause between sound looping. convert your file to a .wav and you will see that there is no pause. :slight_smile:

Solution
Import sounds in a WAV or AIFF format rather than MP3, which produces this problem more frequently.

Hey guys!

first of all I would like to thank for all the help on this subject!
i´ve tried to change the mp3 to wav but the problem remains, i will now try to use an mp3 cutter program to edit the sound and try again…

still got to read that tuturial posted by kax!!
