Ok, I need a text editor built, happy to pay, this is what I want it to do.
I will have an external CSS file that will be loaded. I’ll have custom styles for bold, italic, and links. The fonts for the custom styles will be embed. These custom styles will need to be loaded into a dropdown menu.
The user will be able to highlight some text, then select a style from the drop down menu. The text will update to the right style. The user will be able to remove the style as well, maybe but selecting “none” from the style drop down. The user must be able to add hyperlinks.
Now, most important, when they click “save”, I need Flash to spit out the text in the style it went in. Like this
<span class="myItalic">Hello Everyone</span> how are <span class="myBold">You</span> today.
It would just need to write the final code to a variable.
