I tried following the tutorial on creating a photo gallery in flash using xml. This is the best looking gallery and closest to what I want that I found in the internet. I would really like to use it for my website client to show her artwork.
I’ve been using flash, but am not familiar with xml. I copied the codes where necessary as stated in tutorial.
The problem I’m facing is pointing my photos to the flash file. Also I have flash 8 and used the tutorial download of flash 2004. I had to change my .xml file to a .xml.wbn to save it.
With all this said, I can’t get my pictures to show up. An error message occurs: “file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/(name)/Desktop/images.xml” I put fla, swf and xml(wbn) files along with my photofolder into the same file folder.
How can I get the pictures to show up? Thanks for your help.
