I am sorry if this has been discussed before - I searched. Here is a list of all the gallery software I have discovered.
I would like to have a neat automated photogallery which looks pro (like flickr slideshow) something along the lines of http://www.schmidtfoto.de/
A gallery with low maintenance - I drop the images to a server, and the gallery picks up the images and displays.
Simpleviewer (http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/lores/)
Free - no transision effects - just a fade
**Bananaalbum **(http://www.bananalbum.net/)
Free - doesnt look good.
Slideshow Pro (http://www.slideshowpro.net/examples.shtml)
Very good price ($20) - but again just has fade transision. But looks like its not fully automated.
ImageviewerPlus (http://www.imageviewerplus.com/)
Too expensive ($125) - simple fade
Imagevue (http://www.imagevuex.com)
A bit expensive ($54) - but very close to what I want.
**Flickr Gallery **(http://www.flickr.com)
Free - but no control over the UI and transision effects.
I want to know what else is out there, and is there any opensource flash albums under development ?
thanks!
