Photo Gallery

I am making a photo gallery in flash. I read the photo gallery tutorial (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/photogallery.htm) and was wondering if there was any way to load external images seperately using actionscript. What I want to do is have each ‘page’ on a seperate frame in the *.swf, and each ‘page’ would display an individual external image. I hope that makes sense.
