Let me start by saying that I am a complete amature to all of this. I am using a Flash editor, “Selteco Alligator Flash Designer” to build my website. So far, things have been going well, but my site is a photography site, and I just cannot make image galleries work. What I have been trying to do, is create the galleries, and then insert them into the Selteco designer. This however will not work, as the designer does not recognize the xml files that make the galleries work. I know that the xml files are good - I tested them in html. The problem is with Selteco not recognizingand applying the xml files to the gallery. The designer does have an area that you can paste Action Script for objects. Is there something that I can do with actionscript to make this work? If not, what are my options (besides not using Selteco)? Should I look for image galleries that do not use xml? If so, what are some that are recommended?
